Dr. Shant Bagram, a member of the academic faculty of Sharif University of Technology, was selected as the country's outstanding basic science researcher in the field of physics in 1999. According to the public relations report, Dr. Shant Bagram of the faculty and director of the central library of Sharif University of Technology was selected as "the country's best researcher in the field of physics in 2019" and was awarded the Aburihan Biruni prize in the field of physics. Dr. Shant Bagram received his doctorate in physics majoring in cosmology from the Faculty of Physics of Sharif University of Technology in 2010 and is now an associate professor in the same university majoring in cosmology. He is a young researcher (associate member) of Abdus Salam Theoretical Physics Center and ICTP Italy. Dr. Baghram has been the prolific editor of the scientific section of the Iranian Physics Society's newsletter since 2012, and has joined the society's science promotion committee for two years. Since 2015, he is also a member of the executive council of the gravity and cosmology branch of the association. Dr. Baghram, the best PhD graduate of Sharif University of Technology, received the Balzan Institute International Award in 2013 for his collaboration with the Paris Institute of Astrophysics under the supervision of Dr. Roya Mahiai and Dr. Joseph Silk.
