According to the public relations report of Sharif University of Technology; In the recent meeting of the "World Academy of Sciences for the Development of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS), Dr. Naimeh Naseri, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Physics of Sharif University of Technology, joined the young members of this academy.

Dr. Naimeh Naseri, a new member of the World Academy of Sciences, completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in the field of physics at Sharif University of Technology, and in 1390, she obtained a doctorate in physics from this university. Dr. Naseri is a post-doctoral researcher at the Basic Knowledge Research Institute and has been working as a member of the Faculty of Physics of Sharif University of Technology since 2012.
Dr. Naseri is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Physics. He was the director of research laboratories between 1398 and 1401; Health and Energy, Clean Energy and Laboratory Services Manager of Sharif University of Technology. He was also selected as one of the winners of the Maryam Mirzakhani Award. Dr. Naseri has been selected as the top researcher of the Faculty of Physics of Sharif University of Technology.

Dr. Naimeh Naseri's research field is soft condensed matter, in particular, she is interested in the physics of solar energy, physics of clean energy, photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic reactions, physics of energy storage systems, antibiotics based on two-dimensional nanomaterials, and electrochemical biological sensors.

It should be noted that the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is a prestigious international institution whose mission is to expand and contribute to the advancement of science in developing countries. This academy was founded in 1983 on the initiative of Professor Abdul Islam, the Pakistani winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, under the title of Third World Countries Science Academy.

Currently, 1,296 scientists from 100 countries, including 11 Nobel Prize winners, are members of the Academy of World Sciences, which is headquartered in Trieste, Italy.
